- Jakob was a soldier in World War I in the German army. He married Margaret "Gerda" Porzelt (*13.05.1888, +20.04.1969 Webster NY). Eight years after the end of the War Jakob and Margaret decided to emigrate to Amerika, settling in Rochester, New York.
In Germany Jakob was a machinist repairing equipment, including machines in meat markets. In Rochester he seized the opportunity to go into business with an expert sausage-maker. They founded the Hoss German Sausage Shop at 1227 Clinton Avenue North in Rochester:

- Ferdinand married Ruth Cockburn in about 1946. Ferdinand died by drowning while duck hunting in a storm near Rochester. They had one son. Following the death of Ferdinand Ruth married Larry Rossiter.

Keith Borglum (*1951) - Keith led an interesting life. After graduating from Ithaca College in New York he went to the West Coast and hired onto a tuna fishing boat working the waters between North and South America and New Zealand. From there he mined opals in New Zealand and Australis, then traveled through Asia and the Middle East before returning home to Amerika.
He settled in Marin County, just north of San Francisco. Keith married in 1986 Diane Marie Cate (*1948). They separated in 2011.
He pursued his passions with intensity including photography, gardening and fishing. At one time he reeled in a 253-pound halibut in Alaska. A very big fish!!
